Cardinal fans make Angel feel right at home.
Well, we almost had a win last night in Indiana, but the Dream fell short by four points, 78-74. We almost ended the Fever's winning streak, but instead the Fever win their eighth straight game and Atlanta comes back home with a loss. We play the Connecticut Sun tomorrow night, the last home game before a long road trip.
I tried to watch this game on WNBA's Live Access, but Live Access depends a lot on the weather around my house. Rainy weather = no Live Access. I saw virtually all of the first quarter, some of the second quarter, and virtually none of the final two quarters.
Some news reports:
* the report from the Indianapolis Star.
* the report from the Associated Press.
* Mechelle Voepel's report at ESPN.
SPMSportsPage has a gallery of photographs which can be found here. SPMSportsPage always has good galleries.
My thoughts on the game will be limited to what I saw and the box score. Those will be posted later today.
