Seeing the Shock for the First Time
Amy at the Coffee With the Mrs. blog reports about going to the Detroit Shock/Minnesota Lynx game. This was her very first time to a WNBA game.
"The Shock played well the entire game and pulled out a win. Woo Hoo! Of course, with any game comes a lot of stops and breaks for time outs, half time and such. Thankfully, there was never any “down time” as a viewer. There was always some sort of entertainment on the court whether it was a game between 2 fans, free pizzas being handed out, or the Shockwave dancers keeping us moving."
Glad you enjoyed yourself! (Hey, Bill Bolen? Free pizzas? Think about it!)

Interesting comment by Amy as a first timer regarding the stops in action and her gratitude for the entertainment during those times. Although I enjoy the races and the "here's my warmup music" kinds of things, I never thought about the need for it, but I guess for some it's a welcome addition. Always nice to get a different perspective. Thanks for posting.
That guy is wearing the same shirt as the Peapod guy. Is that the hot new style?
If I gave away free pizzas can you imagine what Levy would charge me in the arena to do that?
:)
