Kristen Mann Waived by Washington

The various WNBA teams are cutting down their rosters, and another dream player gets waived. This time, it's Kristen Mann. Remember Kristen? She was traded to the Fever for Alison Bales in the 2008 mid-season. Now, Kristen and Alison are now looking for work. I suppose that Latvia and Turkey will be glad to have them back when the off-season starts.

If you're a Dream fan, it's been a tough week.

I've always supported Mann, but I saw this one coming. With the 11 spot roster there's only room for ones coaches feel they NEED to win. I hope things go well for her.

Always and forever a Mann Fan here. Miss her and wish her well. Hope she gets picked up.

I agree....11 woman roster sucks. A lot of decent ballers are going to be without a team.

Mann's potential is huge, but unfortunately she is simply not serious about maximizing it...

Kristen Mann is a great player; she can player the 3, 4, or 5 positions. Too bad no WNBA coach can figure this out, as did her UCSB coach. You don't know Mann,n, if you think she doesn't want to maximize her potential. The coaches need to see and use her potential. I hope she gets picked up by another team soon. She's too good to not be playing. MANN OH MANN!!!
