Next season will begin later (June 6) and end later (Sept. 13) than the normal non-Olympic season. This change has been instituted for a number of reasons; to help European League players return in time to get some practice time (and rest) before the WNBA season starts and to actually allow college seniors the ability to graduate with their class, instead of being forced to choose.
