Chantelle Anderson To Be Cut From Dream Roster
From Twitter, via Slovydal, via Rebkell:
@MissChantelle Lettin every1 know I'll b cut by Atlanta 2mrw. Sucks but thats how it goes. Dont know where I'm going now. Agent is workin on it. Packing...
Very sad. Chantelle had high hopes for a comeback. She had taken the year off, had gotten healthier, had dedicated herself to the Dream organization and created a social media presence for herself that could have been a big thing for both her and the WNBA. Unfortunately, the three minutes of play she got last night wasn't an argument either on her side or the coaches' side for her to remain on the roster.
It looks like de Souza. I don't see the Dream choosing Lehning or Gipson over de Souza.
My very best wishes to Chantelle.

Apropos of nothing, I cnt stnd txt-spk especially when the author of same shows he or she is capable of writing compl sntses.
I'm in ur lokker rume, packin ur bags. LOLZ
Apropos of something, these cuts across the board have me nervous, and could be spun as "wow, this is the cream of the crop." But if some player phones it in all season (heck, even one game) doesn't that really open the door for the inevitable cries of "why was ____ cut when ___ is phoning it in?"
Shorter me: Don't you dare cut Leilani Mitchell. Loree Moore had best not phone it in.
Ethan,
One prblm is whn U only have 140 wds to exprs a complete tht. Twitter pts a 140 char limt. :(
Chantelle was great for the Dream in the community and seems like a classy person. The sad truth is that post-injury she simply had no chance of beating out the other posts, particularly with a strong Leuchanka still waiting in the wings too. I hope Chantelle can build a career in broadcasting games or other TV entertainment - she is talented!
Enough with Leuchanka...goodness. She won't be on the Dream roster.
So Leuchanka leads the Olympics in rebounding, plays on UMMC, and says she wants to play this summer...why would she NOT be on the roster as the extra post player? I don't get it...just because she played for her national team last year everyone assumes she is gone forever...
