Miller Twins Avoid Death from Subway Explosions in Moscow
An interesting article from the Rochester (Minnesota) Post-Bulletin tells how a decision made by Coco and Kelly Miller on March 29th saved the twins' lives.
On most Sundays, the Millers, 31, travel to a church by way of the Sokolnicheskaya train, or as locals call it, the Red Line. The route allows them to avoid the city's traffic-choked streets.
On the Monday of the explosion, the Millers again used the metro, but instead took the Arbatsko–Pokrovskaya train, known as the Blue Line.
Eight minutes after they boarded the Blue Line, the first explosion ripped through a train on the Red Line.
A very scary thought that the Millers could have been killed playing overseas basketball.
P. S.: Interestingly, the editor states that WNBA training camp says May 2nd for the Millers. My understanding is that training camp starts April 25th.

Season Tickets on Sale for 2010; "Coco Miller is WHERE?"
The new page for Atlanta Dream Season Tickets is up. However, there is no information on the pricing of the packages. I wonder if there are just two Dream Account Representatives right now.
The Dream also has a players overseas page, but the page still lists Coco Miller as playing in Russia. If she is, the name of the team is a complete mystery. I'm thinking of putting up a milk carton looking for her - her sister Kelly, however, is playing in the Russia Superleague A.
I don't believe that Coco Miller is playing anywhere right now. If you know otherwise, let me know.

Coco Miller in Moscow?
At least according to the 2009-10 WNBA Overseas Roster. I've not seen any confirmation about this on the Russian websites or at Eurobasket.
However, Kelly Miller is playing for Spartak Moscow. Maybe the W, like many others, can't tell the difference either.

Coco Miller (and others) Visiting Minnesota
From the Post-Bulletin:
Spotted about town this week: Twin sisters Kelly and Coco Miller, who both play in the WNBA. The 1997 Mayo grads are in Rochester visiting after recently concluding their 2009 season, Kelly with the Minnesota Lynx and Coco with the Atlanta Dream. Coco and the Dream earned a playoff spot, but lost in the first round.
The Millers reside in Phoenix in the offseason but often travel overseas to play during the winter.
I didn't know the Millers lived in Phoenix.

Dream Signs Coco Miller
The final spot in the Dream's training camp has been filled with the signing of Coco Miller, a former standout at the University of Georgia and the identical twin of Kelly Miller who plays for the Phoenix Mercury. Miller has been a guard for the Washington Mystics for the last eight years.
Coco Miller had a horrible year last year. Her best year was at 24, and she's sort of declined every year since then.
However, a) she is an experienced player, who
b) is willing to accept limited minutes.
The impression is that she's been signed to a regular season contract and not a training camp contract. Here's the final training camp list. (I can't wait till Leuchanka shows up.)
A: Players Who Played Last Year
C Snow (free agent signing)
F/C de Souza
F Lacy
F Lyttle
G/F Castro Marques
G Latta
G Young
G C. Miller
B: Players Who Didn't Play Last Year, But Whom We Expect To Play
C Anderson
G Teasley
F Holdsclaw
C: Players Acquired by Draft or Who Have Not Signed a Contract
C Leuchanka
G/F McCoughtry
G Lehning
F Gipson
