PLKK 1/2009 - Polkowice 73, Krakow 67
Without both Janell Burse and Iziane Castro Marques, Wisla Can Pack Krakow lost their first Polish league game of the year 73-67.

Names that you might recognize: Marta Fernandez and Liron Cohen for Krakow, Amisha Carter and Nadia Parker for Polkowice.
Ewelina Kobryn led all Krakow scorers with 26 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough. Until their big guns arrive in Poland, Krakow might suffer a bit in PLKK play. Iziane should be in Poland in time for EuroCup, which starts in November.
