Copa de la Reina Summary on YouTube
A summary of the Copa de la Reina from YouTube. About 1:45, if you look closely, you can see Sancho Lyttle (in blue) and Erika de Souza (in white):
Wouldn't it be great if people could bring drums to a WNBA game? Or wear those cool scarves emblazoned with the team name?

I wonder if people *could* bring drums to the game, but as with any of those shenanigans it involves talking with the front office and doing it as a partnership rather than "just" trying to tote some drums in. Euro basketball games (I have only seen men's games, disclaimer) seem to copy the soccer atmosphere, with drums and chanting and NO piped in audio clips over the PA. If you want to try and get something like that going for the Dream in 2010, it all begins with a call to the FO.
The Allen Americans CHL hockey team is experiencing that culture shift, by the way, and that's a story for another time... but it reinforces that drums and chants happened because the FO was part of the process.
