Will Becky play?
Ros Casares (6-0) continues its domination of the Liga Femenina in Spain. Today's victim was Cadi la Seu (1-5), and El Ros picked up the win on the road 86-73. Even though this could have been a close game, Ros Casares has never won a game in the Liga Femenina by less than 10 points this year.

I'm sure that members of the Hammon Nation were waiting for news regarding Becky Hammon's debut performance. However, Hammon didn't play. I don't know why she didn't play, but maybe El Ros looked at the competition and decided to give Hammon some time to acclimate to the team. I don't know if she even traveled with the team. She might not have been needed.
It appears that Ros Casares had a tough road game. They were only up by 21-19 after the first quarter and at halftime, Cadi la Seu had tied the score at 43-43. Ros Casares was barely hanging on to a lead when in the fourth quarter, Ros Casares outscored Cadi la Seu 25-12 in the final ten minutes to get the win.
Since the box score is all we have right now, let's look at the Four Factors of the game:
Field goal percentage: Cadi la Seu 45 percent, Ros Casares 42 percent. It's been a while since I've seen a game where Ros Casares didn't lead in field goal percentage. However, if you look at effective field goal percentage (counting 3-pointers as 1 1/2 field goals) you get Cadi la Seu 49 percent, Ros Casares 47 percent. Slight edge to Cadi la Seu.
Turnovers: Ros Casares 8, Cadi la Seu 19. Yes, you read that right. Cadi la Seu shot better, but were more than happy to give the ball away. This gave Ros Casares six more shot attempts.
Offensive rebound percentage: Ros Casares 31 percent, Cadi la Seu 30 percent. In overall offensive rebounds, Ros Casares led 13-8.
Free throws: Cadi la Seu 14-for-15, Ros Casares 12-for-15.
It looks like the big key to the game was turnovers - if Cadi la Seu could have hung on to the ball, they might have had an upset win.

Sonia Borges: 29 points, 6 rebounds. Borges just had one of those wonderful games that I'm sure left Ros Casares scratching their heads. She was 9-for-18 from the field, 11-for-12 from the free throw line and played 37 minutes.
Kerri Gardin: 14 points, 8 rebounds for the Connecticut Sun player.
Licet Castillo: 11 points, 4 rebounds. 4 turnovers.
Jasmon Covington: 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists for the 2007 Louisville graduate.
Ros Casares
Elisa Aguilar: 19 points, 4 assists
Delisha Milton-Jones: 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals. 9-for-20 shooting.
Erika de Souza: 12 points, 8 rebounds.
Laia Palau: 11 points, 4 steals
Belinda Snell: 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals.
Anna Montanana: 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists.
Becky Hammon: Did not play. Might not have been present.
UPDATE: According to the webmaster of BeckyHammon25.com, Hammon was present but did not play. She is expected to play in the biggest game of next week - Ros Casares vs. Ekaterinburg in the Euroleague.
UPDATE #2: The first write-up of the game. Hammon was definitely there, even if just sitting at the end of the bench.

Becky was present with Ros Casares at Saturdays game but did not play because of other reasons. She does expect to play against UMMC.
